Paper and Cardboard

Paper and Cardboard

Place paper and cardboard for recycling in the specific paper bags provided (or in the bins provided for businesses). These are supplied free of charge by ESA.

Paper packaging with food residue must not be recycled, as it causes unpleasant odors and interferes with the recycling process.

PLEASE NOTE:
Always flatten boxes and cardboard packaging to save space.

What to put in:

  • Clean paper waste
  • Newspapers, magazines, books, and notebooks
  • Loose paper and photocopies
  • Cardboard boxes and packaging
  • Pizza boxes (only if clean/barely soiled)
  • Paper bags

What NOT to put in:

  • Dirty/greasy paper or laminated paper
  • Receipts (thermal paper)
  • Used tissues
  • Waxed or baking paper
