General Waste (Non-Recyclable)

This category is only for waste that cannot be recycled. Reducing the amount of general waste is our primary goal.

Bulky items are strictly forbidden here. They must be taken to a Recycling Centre or picked up via appointment.

PLEASE NOTE:
Use tied, transparent bags only.

What to put in:

  • Laminated, waxed, or baking paper
  • Stickers and receipts
  • Used paper tissues
  • Contenitori in cartone plastificato diversi dal tetrapak
  • Ceramics and porcelain (plates, cups)
  • Crystal glasses and Pyrex containers
  • Standard lightbulbs
  • Coffee pods
  • Plastic costume jewelry
  • Small toys and ornaments
  • Ballpoint pens
  • Disposable razors and blades
  • Toothbrushes
  • CDs, sponges, and old rags
  • Vacuum dust and sweeping debris
  • Cigarette butts
  • Synthetic pet litter
  • Candles and old shoes
  • Diapers and sanitary products
  • Used needles (must be capped/sealed)
  • Catheters
  • Shellfish (mussels/clams) and large bones
