TARI
The TARI is a local tax that funds waste collection and disposal. It must be paid by anyone who owns, rents, or occupies a property or outdoor area that can produce waste. Legally, the tax applies to anyone using a building or functional outdoor space.
TARI is paid by the resident/occupier. However, for short-term rentals (less than 6 months), the owner is responsible for the tax, not the guest/tenant.
If multiple people share a property, they are jointly responsible for the tax payment.
